June

We continued to make progress on the patio. It was quite messy at different stages. We really liked the 9-patch pattern Chris designed and how well he used the different sizes of patio squares that we already had mixed with the ones we bought just for the project. Kevan and William were good at exploring as the project progessed.

Later in May

Chris Bramel working on our new front yard patio.

Rocks and stepping stones in piles and piles waiting for placement. Chris had to move them over and over to get them out of the way until he laid them into the nine-patch pattern.

Drive Nancy and I took through North Eastern Oregon. Hell's Canyon Scenic Drive and then Wallala Lake near the Down of Joseph, Oregon.

Lots of cool metal sculptures decorate the streets of Joseph.

2 grandkids in mid-may

Karissa playing with the marble tower.

Jenn fell at the gym and sprained her arm and leg. While she went to the doctor, William and I visited with my friend BJ who took us to the neighbors where we saw chickens and alpacas.
Getting Jenn up from her perch was quite a process for her caretakers. It took 6 weeks for Jenn to return home without help.

Marching through March

I went with Vicki to a Michael Feldman recording in Salem. A very fun experience.
We spent a couple of days exploring around Mt. Adams in Washington. These pictures were at the Klickitat river gorge.

William got a black eye.

Karissa likes the Shrek hat and playing at the park.
